June 27, 2017 - The evening sky was a picturesque backdrop for Appleton Little League's 2017 Baseball City Tournament. After nearly two weeks of single elimination games for both the baseball Major and Minor divisions, the top two teams met on the baseball diamonds at Gromer and Kratzer Fields at Scheel's USA Youth Sports Complex.
All teams played hard but, as we know, only one team walks away as the champions in their respective division.

"I just love this night! It's great to see the amount of people that came to watch the games...it's the Appleton baseball family! There were coaches from years ago and players too," said Dawn Gilbert-Biechler, Volunteer and Events Chair for Appleton Little League.
The 2017 City Tournament championship for Appleton Little League Girl's Softball is scheduled for June 28th and 29th, weather permitting.
