Skills assessment for league-age 12-year-olds. Skills assessment and Major tryouts for 11s and 10s (11s and 10s not drafted in Major may be be drafted to a Minor team).
*** Returning MAJOR players already on a team from 2020 DO NOT need to try out ***
If your child has a conflict with the above tryout time and wishes to play Major, you must email PlayerAgent@AppletonLittleLeague.org by the end of the day Tuesday, April 13 or ASAP after.
American Major Baseball
Registration/Check-in: 11:00 am - 11:30 am
Skills Assessment/Tryout: 11:30 am – 12:30 pmNational Major Baseball
Registration/Check-in: 12:15 pm - 12:45 pm
Skills Assessment/Tryout: 12:45 pm – 2:00 pm
What to bring/wear for tryouts:
- Glove
- Bat and helmet (will be provided if your child does not have)
- Baseball cleats AND tennis shoes (no cleats in batting cages)
- Baseball or athletic pants or shortsPlayer assignments for Major will be announced on our web site, www.AppletonLittleLeague.org, by the evening of Monday, April 19. Players will be contacted by their new team’s Manager by Tuesday, April 20.
