DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME REMINDER: Please note that the clocks sprung forward an hour overnight, so don't be late!
Skills assessment for league-age 12-year-olds. Skills assessment and Major tryouts for 11s and 10s (11s and 10s not drafted in Major will later be drafted to a Minor team).
10- and 11-year-old players who miss the Major tryout on March 10 will not be eligible to be drafted to a Major team. Any 10- or 11-year-old that is not drafted to a Major team will be drafted to a Minor team after March 17.
*** Returning MAJOR players already on a team DO NOT need to try out ***
If your child has a conflict with the above tryout time and wishes to play Major, you must email Taryn Kohl, Player Agent, PlayerAgent@AppletonLittleLeague.org by the end of the day Tuesday, March 5. We will have alternate session on Wednesday, March 6 at 7p, in which those with a conflict on 3/10 can be assessed and be eligible to be drafted to a Major team. Details will be given to those who get confirmation from our Player Agent that it's OK to attend.
What to bring/wear for tryouts: - Glove - Bat and helmet (will be provided if your child does not have) - Gyms shoes (no cleats) - Shorts or pants
Player assignments for Major will be announced on our web site, www.AppletonLittleLeague.org, by the evening of Wednesday, March 13. Players will be contacted by their new team’s Manager by Thursday, March 16.

Players who were NOT on a MAJOR Softball team in 2023 (JD's Drive In, Play It Again Sports, VFW Auxiliary) need to attend tryouts/skills assessment.

- MINOR (league ages 8-10): 11:15-11:45 Registration, 12:00-1:45 skills assessment
- MAJOR (league ages 11-12): 1:30-1:45 Registration, 2:00-3:00 skills assessment
Girls should bring a glove and wear gym clothes and shoes (no cleats). Batting helmet and bat are not required, but girls are encouraged to bring if they have.
If unable to attend Sunday (or the alternate session that was Wednesday), please email PlayerAgent@AppletonLittleLeague.org ASAP.
