In accordance with the constitution of Appleton Little League, Inc., at the January 7, 2018 meeting of the Board of Directors, President Kevin Kostelecky presented Secretary Michael Navin with a proposed amendment to the constitution and bylaws of Appleton Little League as follows:
In accordance with Appleton Little League, Inc. Article XIV – Amendments, Section 1(a), I propose these amendments:
Article VII – Officers and Elections, Section 4
From:
All officers shall be elected by members with voting privileges. To be duly elected, a majority vote is required. In
the event of a tie, the President’s vote may be used. A quorum of at least fifteen (15) members, with voting
privilege, must be present. No member, regardless of his/her position, shall be entitled to more than one (1) vote.
To:

Article XII – Meetings, Section 4
From:
At all meetings of the League, regular or special, a quorum for the transaction of business shall consist of fifteen
(15) members of the League including Officers present, but a less number may adjourn the meeting to some
future day.
To:
At all meetings of the League, regular or special, a quorum for the transaction of business shall consist of eleven
(11) members of the League including Officers present, but a less number may adjourn the meeting to some
future day.
These amendments will be voted on the next meeting of the Board of Directors.
